Meet Ron & Dayle
We’re Ron and Dayle Moden. We acquired our first Australian Shepherd “Boomer” in 1976. Blue Boomer was a wonderful companion and hooked us on the breed. We purchased our first show dog, CH Starswept’s One Arrogant Fox, “Foxie”, in 1990. Foxie was a stunning black tri girl. We owe a lot to Foxie as she was our first show dog and champion, and the foundation for our kennel. It is in her honor that we named our kennel “Foxpointe”.
We have bred many Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA) Conformation, Agility and Obedience Champions, American Kennel Club (AKC) Champions as well as ASCA Hall of Fame Sires and Dams.
Ron Moden
Ron is a Senior Breeder Judge and has judged in many different states in the United States, as well as in Germany and Belgium. Ron was honored to judge the Australian Shepherd National Specialty Conformation finals in Tennessee in 2015. When asked what he he enjoys the most about his Australian Shepherds Ron quickly replies;"
We love our dogs very much and they are truly a part of our lives in everything we do."
Dayle Moden
Dayle is the handler of all the Foxpointes Australian Shepherds. From Agility, Obedience and Conformation, Dayle not only trains them but shows each of the residents of Foxpointes Australian Shepherds.
Dayle also has certified Charm as a Therapy dog and visits weekly at assisted care facilities and mental wards. Dayles compassion and Charms special little personality has blessed not only those they visit weekly but Dayle personally in the past 3 years.
